Tomie (富江) is a Japanese horror manga series written and illustrated by Junji Ito. Tomie was Ito's starting time published work he originally submitted to Monthly Halloween, a shōjo mag in 1987, which led to him winning the Kazuo Umezu honor. The manga centers on the titular character: a mysterious, cute woman named Tomie Kawakami, identified past her sleek black hair and a dazzler marking below her left eye.
