-Avert placing the active speakers directly on a hollow stage flooring. A hollow stage can resonate at sure frequencies, causing peaks and dips in the frequency response of the room. Information technology'south better to place the speakers on a sturdy table or tripod stand.
-Position the speakers so the high-frequency drivers are ii to four feet above ear level to the audience to maintain high-frequency quality.

Input. It is a good idea to periodically clean all electrical connections with a non-lubricating electrical contact cleaner.

If humming occurs, turn the LEVEL command of the speaker all the manner down. If the noise disappears, it's coming from the signal source. If non, try disconnecting the cable connected to the INPUT jack. If the noise disappears, information technology could be a "footing loop," Try the post-obit ideas:
o, Use balanced connections throughout your system for best dissonance rejection. (XLR cables, balanced ¼" jacks; RCA cables are not balanced)
o Whenever possible, plug all the sound equipment's ability cords into the same outlet.
o The hum may appear when using an unbalanced source (CD player, iPod, etc.).
Use can apply an RCA to XLR adapter to turn an unbalanced cable into a balanced cable.
